Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Soft slabs up to eighteen inches in depth at the higher elevations rest on leeward slopes. The slabs lie upon lighter density snow and slick hard crusts. Riders or skiers on steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones could trigger these slabs. Warm temperatures and a rotting snowpack at the low elevations will provide the possibility for wet loose slides on steep snow covered slopes.
