Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE. Slabs up to two feet deep formed primarily by southwest winds exist on leeward aspects and could be triggered by skiers or snowmachiners. Deep DANGEROUS older slabs up to five feet in depth have been easily triggered by travelers. The consequences of triggering a surface slab above a terrain trap, cliff or a deep, hard slab on any steep slope could be severe.
