Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Warning is in effect for the Front Range, Summit County, and northern Sawatch Range. Very dangerous avalanche conditions exist. You can easily trigger avalanches large enough to bury you. Where strong winds drift snow avalanches can release naturally. With another round of snow and wind on Thursday, very dangerous avalanche conditions will continue into Friday. Travel in or below avalanche terrain is not recommended.
