Avalanche Summary

Temperatures dip below freezing on Wednesday night, which will help refreeze the snowpack above 9,000 feet. On Thursday, cool and cloudy weather will further help reduce the chance of wet avalanches. However, refreezing the snowpack fully may take multiple nights of colder temperatures. Continue to remain vigilant for wet, unsupportable snow surfaces, especially on slopes that face the north side of the compass near and above treeline, where the most concerning snowpack structure remains for Wet Slab avalanches.
