Highlights

The general avalanche hazard remains MODERATE as instabilities persist in the snowpack. Soft slabs formed during the Thanksgiving holiday lie upon a well developed weak layer of surface hoar and faceted old snow. Pockets of slab up to 12 inches in depth could be human triggered on very steep wind loaded aspects.
