Highlights
At the upper elevations, Southwest to Northwest winds the last few days have formed surface slabs that could be triggered by backcountry users on steep wind loaded slopes to a foot in depth. These slabs will increase in size and sensitivity today as new snow accompanied by strong winds arrive. At the mid and low elevations avalanches are unlikely today except in isolated pockets.
