Highlights

Slabs one to three feet in depth lie upon a weak layer of surface hoar and faceted snow at all elevations. A slide may release upon approach or after the slope has been skied or crossed several times. Sunday a soft slab 20 inches in depth was triggered sympathetically on a 31 degree northeast aspect slope near Mt. Taylor. Other very low angle slides on similar aspects and slope angles were reported yesterday.
