Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is Moderate today. Soft surface slabs to eighteen inches in depth from recent snow exist in wind loaded avalanche slopes at the higher elevations. These slabs lie upon weak faceted snow, surface hoar, and hard crusts and could be triggered by backcountry users today in steep avalanche starting zones.
