Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW today. Isolated pockets of soft slab up to a foot in depth exist in some upper elevation starting zones. These shallow slabs lie upon a slick crust and could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. Shallow loose snow sluffs could also be triggered on very steep snow covered slopes. Wet slides are possible today if significant warming occurs.
