Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Warning is in effect for Wednesday 5 AM through Wednesday 11 PM. A powerful storm will bring very strong westerly winds and heavy, dense snow. These winds will build thick slabs, several feet thick, on easterly slopes. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended on Wednesday. You can easily trigger large and wide avalanches, especially on exposed, wind-drifted slopes.
