Avalanche Summary

You might be able to trigger a small avalanche where you find pockets of drifted snow above weak old snow. The most likely place to find this setup is high in the alpine on north-facing terrain right at ridgeline and along the edges of terrain features like gullies.

These avalanches are small, isolated, and easy to avoid, but could result in an uncomfortable tumble if swept into exposed rocks.

Join the Friends of CAIC on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center for the 18th annual CAIC Benefit Bash - the season's biggest fundraiser for avalanche safety. Tickets are available here <https://breckcreate.org/events/caic-benefit-bash>
