Highlights
One foot of new snow with strong winds fell yesterday. Strong winds at all elevations have transported the new snow and created fragile slabs to two feet in depth in lee areas. This new snow lies upon an unstable snowpack. Easily released slabs over four feet in depth were released yesterday by people merely approaching the areas. Today avalanches, both human triggered and naturally running, are likely at all elevations on a variety of slopes. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY.
