Avalanche Summary

Triggering an avalanche is difficult right now. The remaining hazard spots are where you find a stiff slab of wind-packed snow sitting over weaker snow. These areas are isolated on steep alpine slopes.

Late in the day, you may find small loose avalanche activity on sunny slopes. Rollerballs are a sign to move off warming slopes.
