Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe. You can still find some weak areas in the near treeline elevation band where strong winds left new drifts in open areas. Cracking and collapsing are signs of danger, and a sign you should be careful around steep slopes in similar spots.

A winter storm on Thursday might increase the avalanche danger, although it's more likely on Friday.
