Avalanche Summary

The slopes where you could trigger an avalanche are steep and have a firm, connected slab formed by recent winds and snow. Look for and avoid pillowy or lens-shaped drifts below ridgelines and in cross-loaded terrain. The more dangerous slopes face east and northeast, where recent winds drifted snow into thicker slabs.

Safer riding conditions can be found at lower elevations and slopes protected from the wind.
