Avalanche Summary

Avalanches are becoming harder to trigger, but don't let your guard down. Plenty of slopes are still dangerous. Finding just the wrong spot on a steeper slope could land you in a deadly situation. Wind-drifted faces below ridges or concave gullies have produced significant avalanches recently and should be on your list of places to avoid. Conditions are tricky right now, so play it safe by sticking to lower-angle slopes and steering clear of risky areas.
