Vast amounts of recent snow will be easy to trigger on steep slopes and potentially overload deeply buried weak layers. The most dangerous slopes face northwest, north, and northeast and are the most likely places to trigger a larger slide. Continued westerly winds will further complicate conditions by loading easterly slopes to their breaking point. Avoid traveling on or under steep slopes facing these aspects of concern, and steer clear of any wind-drifted features to help reduce your chances of being caught in an avalanche.
