Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe to travel on or below, and triggering avalanches will be difficult. The few places you might want a bit of caution are wind-drifted slopes just below ridgelines or the sides of steep gullies. A lingering pocket of harder snow could be released if you find just the wrong spot. Though unlikely, this scenario could prove dangerous if you are in consequential terrain above a cliff or creek bed.
