Avalanche Summary

Watch for small areas of drifted snow on easterly-facing slopes. Although avalanche conditions are generally safe, you may be able to trigger a small avalanche in a drifted spot. Small avalanches can carry big consequences in steep, unforgiving terrain. Don't let your guard down, and evaluate any steep slope carefully, looking for newly formed slabs of drifted snow.
