Although unlikely, there is a chance that you can trigger avalanches that break deeper in the snowpack. You are most likely to trigger one of these avalanches on north through east to south-facing slopes. You can avoid this problem by steering clear of steep slopes on these aspects.
Daytime high temperatures climb above freezing on Saturday. You may find some remnant wind-drifted areas in high-elevation spots below ridgelines and in gullies and couloirs. Look for small wet snow avalanches on southerly-facing slopes. Be very careful if you are riding above terrain traps such as rocks, trees, or cliffs.
