Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations slabs up to two feet in depth formed by southwest winds lie upon persistant weak layers of buried surface hoar and faceted snow. These slabs could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations.
