Highlights
At the mid and upper elevation soft slabs eight inches to two feet in depth exist in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. These slabs could be human triggered today and could step down to an old hard snow surface near the ground on northerly aspects above 8,000 feet that have not had recent avalanche activity. At the lower elevations avalanches are unlikley except in isolated pockets.
