Regions

Little Yoho.

Travel and climbing conditions are about as good as they get for this time of year.    Downhill skiing conditions will need some new snow to refresh the slopes. SH

Weather Forecast

Only isolated snow flurries are expected over the next few days, continuing the drought.  Expect light to moderate W to NW winds Sunday with a mix of sun and cloud and freezing levels to 1700m.

Snowpack Summary

The snowpack remains unchanged; locked in place by strong surface crusts up to almost 2000m. Above this, isolated pockets of soft snow can be found on the surface. Aside from thin isolated windslabs in the alpine, no shears have been found, and no weak layers are currently active.

Avalanche Summary

No new avalanches reported or observed today.
