    • All elevations

Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be quite well bonded.

The snowpack will be generally well bonded. Avalanches can in very isolated cases be released in deeper layers, mostly by large additional loads. Below approximately 2200 m from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying. The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information that has been collected in the field, so that the avalanche danger should be investigated especially thoroughly in the relevant locality.

Snowpack Structure

Over a wide area only a little snow is lying. In some places new snow and wind slabs are lying on a hard crust. The old snowpack is faceted, especially on steep shady slopes.

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.
