Eastside Region

LOW avalanche danger exists at all elevations. Small loose-wet sloughs could become possible on steep SE-S-SW aspects as they warm.  Firm and variable conditions are widespread. 

The snowpack had another fairly good refreeze last night and similar temperatures are expected today as yesterday. Slopes with direct sun exposure should again soften to a degree, but this should be limited by increasing clouds and SW winds in the afternoon. Loose-wet concerns should remain restricted to triggering small sloughs in steep SE-S-SW facing terrain, especially near warming rock bands. One of these sloughs could lead to a bad fall in consequential terrain. 

Crampons and ice-ax/whippet are wise tools in exposed terrain.

Continue practicing safe travel protocols such as exposing one person at a time so that you are prepared for surprises and have good habits in place when conditions become more dangerous.
