Forecast Snow Stability: The patchy snow cover will be well bonded in all locations. Greatest coverage, which will be found in North to East facing corries above 900 metres will be very firm and icy. Shallow pockets of softer snow will be found on other aspects. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: High pressure conditions will continue. Possible snow flurries, otherwise dry. Generally feeling cold within the cloud or in shaded areas. Winds becoming moderate in strength from the North-North-East. Observed Weather Influences: Dry with very light variable winds. Inversion conditions with cloud to around 1000 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The old snow, which is mostly found on North to East aspects above 900 metres, is very firm and icy. Isolated shallow accumulations of softer snow can be found elsewhere. The avalanche hazard is Low.
