In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. Individual avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found on extreme slopes. As the temperature drops hardly any moist and wet avalanches are to be expected.

In some localities up to 2 cm of snow will fall from the afternoon above approximately 1500 m. Less snow than usual is lying, especially on steep southeast, south and southwest facing slopes below approximately 2600 m. The snowpack will be generally subject to considerable local variations. As a consequence of highly fluctuating temperatures a crust formed on the surface during the last few days, in particular on sunny slopes. Intermediate and high altitudes, steep shady slopes: Towards its base, the snowpack is faceted.

The avalanche danger will persist.
