Forecast Snow Stability: Good stability in most locations. A few thin pockets of soft weak windslab are possible on selected steep East, North-East through East to South aspects above 950m. Thin cover of fresh snow expected to persist down to 500m in most locations. The avalanche hazard will be Low
Forecast Weather Influences: Moderate North-West winds easing from dawn onwards. Remaining very cold throughout. Generally dry though an occasional very light snow shower is possible during the day. Observed Weather Influences: Much colder with periods of snowfall which eased by midday. Moderate West later North East winds. ObservedSnowStability: Only very limited new wind drifted snow at higher altitudes. Sporadic small, thin pockets of very soft and cold windslab high on some South to South West facing coire rims and gully exits. A general thin covering of cold fresh snow down to 450m. The avalanche hazard is Low
