Forecast Weather Influences: Very mild with rain at all levels. Very strong South-Westerly winds. Observed Weather Influences: After a dry clear start, showers developed and turned to rain at all levels. The freezing level rose above the summits. Strong South-Westerly winds. ObservedSnowStability: Localised areas of instability are present in recent snow accumulations. Areas affected are gully tops and coire rims on North-East to South-East aspects above 1000 metres. Cornices are prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
