Low avalanche danger. Caution: spontaneous small loose-snow avalanches increasing risk especially on sunny slopes.
Snow base is still thin without significant weak layers. Only in high shady slopes the snow base is built by faceted snow crystals without sufficient stability. Due to warming and radiation the snow cover got moist. During the night surface hoar will form which is possibly unstable.
Thursday only few clouds to clear skies are expected. From noon on increasing clouds from west which anticipate a low pressure system. Temporarily moderate winds in high altitudes which will get stronger during the day coming from southwest. Temperatures around noon will be around +8 degrees in 2.000 m.
Increasing avalanche danger on Friday is possible. South of the Alos few snow precipitation are possible. Wind peaks 70 - 100 km/h. Temperatures will be -9 degrees on 2.000 m.
