Forecast Snow Stability: Accumulations of weak windslab expected on steep East to South aspects above 900m; most affected locations will be coire rims and gully exits. The old exposed and patchy snowpack will remain tightly bonded and stable. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Moderate North-West winds and light snow showers throughout. Remaining cold. Observed Weather Influences: Cold. Light intermittent snow showers from just before dawn. Strong North-East winds easing to moderate North-West later. ObservedSnowStability: The old, mature and patchy snowpack is tightly bonded, firm or very crusty. Isolated pockets of thin weak windslab are present on a few steep East-South-East to South facing aspects above 950m. The avalanche hazard is Low.
