Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain cool and dry for this next forecast period, with Freezing levels around 600 metres. The wind will be fresh South-Westerly.
Observed Weather Influences: Hill fog affected the area to start the day, this eventually cleared from the tops to give a mild and dry day. The winds have been light generally South-Westerly. ObservedSnowStability: Thaw conditions prevail; the snowpack is much depleted, moist and generally well stabilised. Remaining snow cover lies primarily on North to East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
