The few snow patches that exist will be well consolidated and stable throughout and will continue to slowly thaw, although they will be firm around higher summits, particularly through the morning. Most snow patches remain on steep North to East aspects, The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Hill fog and drizzle will persist overnight and through the morning followed by rain at all levels in the afternoon, heavy at times. Fresh to strong West-South-West winds will become gale force in the afternoon on exposed summits. The freezing level will rise from summit level overnight to well above the summits by daybreak. Observed Weather Influences: A mild day with persistent hill fog and drizzle at all levels. The fresh South-West wind strengthened through the morning and the freezing level remained above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The mountains in the Torridon forecast area are mostly bare. The few patches of snow that remain are slowly thawing and well consolidated. Most snow patches exist on high North to East aspects. The avalanche hazard is Low.
