Forecast Snow Stability: Snowpack stability will generally remain good. Above 900 metres the surface will be firm and icy in exposed areas. Below 900 metres it will be progressively softer and moist. Shallow surface instabilities may exist on the steepest slopes and gullies mainly with a North to Easterly aspect. Remaining cornices will be fragile. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A trace of new snow is expected overnight then dry conditions will affect the area on Tuesday. The freezing level will be around 800 to 900 metres. There are isolated areas of surface instability on the steepest slopes and gullies mainly above 800 metres where shallow accumulations of new snow exist. The avalanche hazard is Low.
