Forecast Snow Stability: Very patchy snowpack. Good general stability. Some very minor wet snow instability possible later on steep North-East through East to South-East aspects above 950 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: Cold overnight but summit temperatures rising later. Moderate West later West-South-West winds. No precipitation is forecast. Observed Weather Influences: Cold. North-West or West winds, generally light but stronger during showers. Dry but with some light, blustery snow showers around noon.
ObservedSnowStability: Good stability in most places. Some thin, isolated pockets of soft windslab but only at the top of very steep North-East through East to South-East aspects above 950 metres. The snowpack elsewhere remains hard and frozen but is very patchy and generally confined to coire rims, gully exits and favoured accumulation zones on summit plateau areas. The avalanche hazard is Low.
