We haven't received any recent reports of avalanche activity. Looking forward, riders may find lingering wind slabs in steep alpine terrain features.

Snowpack Summary

Riders report highly variable travel conditions from soft to wind-affected to crusty.

Around 10 to 15 cm of snow accumulated on the weekend, which was redistributed in wind-exposed terrain. This snow overlies a hard melt-freeze crust at lower elevations. Another hard crust is found around 10 to 40 cm deep, which may not exist above 1500 m around White Pass and 1200 m in the Wheaton Valley.
