Up to 30 cm of new snow since March 13th, this sit on settled snow above a robust melt freeze crust. This crust exists everywhere except for northerly aspects above 1800 m. The January drought layer lies 60 â130 cm deep, with snow depths at treeline averaging 130â200 cm.
