Snowpack Summary

A well-settled spring snowpack exists in most areas of the park. Expect to find a supportive overnight crust that deteriorates with daytime warming. As the snowpack loses strength during the day larger avalanches will be possible. The snowpack is quickly melting and low areas in the eastern part of the park are already snow-free.

Spring can still bring winter-like storms and with that dry snow problems like windslab. More information on spring conditions can be found here
