Avalanche Problems
Loose Wet
Avalanches are most likely to occur during periods of intense sun, above freezing temperatures, or rainfall.
Aspects: All aspects.
Elevations: All elevations.
Likelihood: Possible
Expected Size: 1 - 2
Wet Slabs
Several crusts in the isothermal snowpack provide failure planes and bed surfaces for wet slabs. Loose wet avalanches, or cornice failures could trigger these slabs. Large glide releases are still occurring frequently.
Aspects: All aspects.
Elevations: Alpine, Treeline.
Likelihood: Unlikely - Possible
Expected Size: 1 - 3
