Problems

Loose Wet

An icon showing Loose Wet

Heavy rain continues Thursday night into Friday morning. The likelihood of both human-triggered and natural loose wet avalanches will remain increased during periods of rain and if the sun comes out Friday afternoon.

  • Minimize overhead exposure during periods of rain or sun, as avalanches could travel far.
  • Avoid terrain traps like cliffs and gullies that increase the consequence of small avalanches.
  • Stay off steep slopes when it is raining or southerly slopes with clear skies.

Aspects: All aspects.
