Summary

Weather Forecast

Mainly cloudy with 30 percent chance of flurries. Low minus 3 tonight. Expecting flurries over the next 48 hours with no significant winds forecasted.

Snowpack Summary

15-30 cm of low density snow sits over a supportive crust. Below the crust the snowpack has settled, creating a very solid base. General light winds over the past week have helped preserve the new snow over the crust, allowing for great ski conditions at tree line and above.

Avalanche Summary

No avalanches observed, suspect isolated point releases in the recent storm snow out of steep gully features. Ice climber should take note of new accumulation at higher elevations.

Confidence

Due to the number and quality of field observations
