Nothing new observed, but visibility was poor.

Snowpack Summary

Up to 20cm of new snow at treeline in past 36hrs with increasingly strong NE winds. November rain crust buried 5 to 10cm at treeline. Early season observations are very limited.

Avoid travelling on ledges and cliffs where sluffing may have severe consequences.>

Storm Slabs

Isolated pockets of slab can be found in lee and cross-loaded features in the Alpine. Watch for "reverse" wind loading due to northerly winds.

Be careful with wind loaded pockets while approaching and climbing ice routes.>
