Until midday the weather will be clear. Early morning: The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will soften during the day. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. Crampons or ski Crampons are useful, especially on traverses and very smooth and hard slopes. As a consequence of warming, the activity of moist and wet avalanches will only slowly increase. The near-surface layers of the snowpack can be released in isolated cases by winter sport participants in particular in extremely steep terrain. In particular in starting zones where no previous releases have taken place and at the base of rock walls only isolated small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized natural wet avalanches are possible. The conditions are generally favourable for ski touring.

The spring-like weather conditions gave rise to rapid settling of the snowpack. This situation gave rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack below approximately 2700 m. The amount of snow is subject to significant local variations. Especially on sunny slopes below the tree line no snow is lying. On shady slopes below the tree line hardly any snow is lying. Especially on the colder slopes above the treeline, in the valley basins and headlands that have been less affected by stormy winds in recent weeks, there is excellent snow cover. Weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack in particular at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions.

As a consequence of warming during the day small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible below approximately 3300 m.
