Our shallow early season snowpack is mostly stable and continues to gain depth. At the higher elevations recent new snow has accumulated on denser old snow surfaces. Loose snow sloughs and isolated areas of instability are possible on very steep slopes and in extreme terrain. Normal caution is advised.

Snow showers are to continue overnight before tapering off in the morning. By the afternoon, skies should be mostly sunny. Mountain temperatures are to rise from the low teens to the low twenties.The general avalanche hazard remains low with avalanche hazard limited to isolated pockets that are most likely to be found in extreme terrain.
