Snowpack Summary

5 to 10 cm of soft snow which is slowly adding up sits on a thick, supportive rain crust. At higher elevations, there may be deeper deposits of wind-loaded snow up to around 30 cm.

The remainder of the snowpack is dry, with small faceted crystals down to the ground.

Snow depths vary significantly, between 70 to 130 cm around the White Pass.
