Low avalanche danger will prevail.
The old wind slabs are mostly small and can be released in isolated cases. The avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on very steep shady slopes at elevated altitudes, in particular in gullies and bowls. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.
Only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year. The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. Shady slopes: The snowpack consists of faceted crystals. Steep sunny slopes: As a consequence of mild temperatures and solar radiation a crust formed on the surface. Little snow has fallen in some localities.
In all altitude zones from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying. The avalanche danger will persist.
