Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will gradually thaw and consolidate at all levels. Some surface instabilities will be present mainly on steep North, North-East and East aspects above 1000m. Remaining cornices will become increasingly unstable. The avalanche hazard will be Low

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Some light rain at all levels is expected with decreasing Easterly winds Observed Weather Influences: It has been dry with increasing South-Easterly winds. The freezing level has gradually risen to above 1200m during the afternoon. ObservedSnowStability: After some initial redistribution due to the strong winds, the snowpack has started to consolidate with the rising freezing level. Some localised instabilities are present mainly above 1150m. Overall snowpack stability is generally good. The avalanche hazard is Low
