Overnight lows in the mountains will be in the upper teens before rising into the upper 20s during the day. Westerly ridgetop winds at 15 to 25 miles per hour will shift to the northeast and decrease to 10 to 15.The General Avalanche Hazard is expected to be MODERATE on Monday in the Tetons and Greys River area. There, backcountry travelers could trigger pockets of windslab six to twelve inches in depth in steep, wind loaded terrain above 9,000 feet. Any extended periods of sunshine will increase the likelihood of triggering these slides and also bring about the chance for sluffing of the new snow.In the Togwotee Pass area, where less snow fell, the snowpack is mostly stable and avalanches are unlikely except for very shallow sluffing of the new snow if the sun comes out. There, the General Avalanche Hazard is expected to be LOW.
