Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Four inches of new snow at higher elevations will slough easily with sun exposure starting slides that may become dangerous in size. Pockets of soft slab up to two feet in depth rest on a variety of aspects in upper elevation avalanche starting zones. These slabs sit on hard crusts on most aspects and on faceted snow on steep northerly slopes and could be human triggered in steep wind loaded areas.
