Avalanche Summary
Most slopes are free from avalanches. If you were to trigger an avalanche, it would be in freshly drifted snow, small in size, and on a slope steeper than around 35 degrees. You will most likely find areas of drifted snow just below ridgelines and in cross-loaded terrain. The best and safest travel conditions are on lower-angle slopes, protected from the wind.
